HOW TO FIND YOUR MODEL AND SERIAL NUMBER

You’ll find your range’s oven model number locationon on the left-hand edge of the storage drawer. This should be visible once you slide it open.

Where to find stove model number for your wall oven’s?  It will be along the top left-hand side of the front panel.

You’ll find your cooktop’s model number is located underneath the burner box. This should be visible once you flip over the cooktop.

You’ll find your microwave’s model number is located on the right-hand edge of the interior wall. This should be visible once you open the door.

You’ll find your hood or vent’s model number is located on the left-hand side of the rear wall, underneath the hood.

Most commonly the rating plate with the model and serial number is located on the door frame of the cooker – for example with Hotpoint. Less commonly you can find it on the side of the door or at the base near the front.

Normally, a cursory inspection of the front and inside (door and frame) on your appliance should reveal the rating plate with all the information you will need. However, sometimes you might need to remove a panel at the front to see it – be very careful not to damage your appliance while doing so.

Your wall oven's model number is typically located along the interior side trim of the oven and visible when the door is opened.

Where is the model number on a frigidaire stove? Your Frigidaire range/stove's model number may vary, but is most commonly found in one of the following locations.  
Either along with the interior side trim of the oven and visible when the door is opened, on the left-side panel and visible when the door is opened or on the front frame of the storage drawer panel and visible when the drawer is opened.

GE stove model number location. The model/serial number location depends on the model design.

• Single Oven - On the front frame at the lower-left edge of the oven cavity.
• Double Oven - On the front frame at the lower-left edge of the lower oven cavity.
• Microwave Oven Combination - Inside the microwave cavity on the left sidewall.

• Open the oven door all the way and look for a tag on the frame of the oven's opening. In many Hotpoint ranges the tag will be on the bottom of the frame near the door's hinges.
• Check other possible tag locations if you didn't find the tag when you opened the oven door. Open the drawer below the oven, if your stove has one, and look on the surface of the rim around the drawer cavity that's facing you. Check under the front left burner if your stove is electric.
• Lift the stovetop if it's an electric range with a liftable cooktop. Check on the right side and center of the cavity for a tag.
• Grip the kickplate if there is one -- a kickplate is a removable panel below the oven. Pull it free; it may be necessary to lift it slightly as you pull. Look for the tag on the stove's frame.

Double Oven Ranges
The model and serial numbers are located behind the control panel.

Combination Microwave/Wall Ovens
The microwave model and serial numbers are located on the center vent under the control panel. The oven model and serial numbers are located on the center vent.

Commercial Ranges 
The model and serial numbers are located on the right side of the front frame.

Downdraft Cooktops
The model and serial numbers are located on the right side of the plenum.

• Kenmore stove model number location. Open the oven door. Check the door frame for the model number tag. On the tag, the digits or letters following "Model No." "MOD" or "MO" comprises the model number.
• Open the broiler or the range drawer if your stove has one. Look for the tag on the door frame next to the broiler or drawer cavity.
• Move any loose items off the top of the stove. Lift the cooktop if your stovetop lifts. Grasp both sides near the front and lift up. The model number tag will be visible on the area below the burners if that's the right location on your stove. Keep your fingers clear when you lower the cooktop.
• Check the exterior of the stove on each side of its body near the bottom.

The serial plates are located behind the control panel.  You may view them by rotating the serial plates up.

Where to find a model number on an LG stove?  Serial and model numbers for electric or gas range and wall ovens can be found in different areas.  In the majority of cases, the label can be found on the left-hand side of the door or drawer (fig. 1), behind the oven panel headboard (fig. 2), in the left-hand side of the frame of the bottom drawer (fig. 3) or beneath the upper lip of the top oven when the door is open (fig. 4).

Serial and model numbers for electric or gas range and wall ovens can be found in different areas.

The Samsung model number and serial number are found on the left side of the storage/warming drawer.

You will find the model number on a sticker or rating plate. For cookers and ovens, this can usually be found around the frame, behind the door of the appliance.
